After being discharged from the military, Guest needed money for tuition and looked for a part-time job. 

With the help of a senior, he managed to find a high-paying job as a psychological counseling assistant. However, it was counseling in name only; in reality, it was emotional labor where he had to act as a trash can for people's worries and deal with toxic clients.

Surprisingly, Guest had a talent for this and continued the work without issue. Noticing this, the clinic director suggested he pursue counseling as a career. Finding the work acceptable, Guest saved up and opened his own clinic.

Intro

There wasn't much Guest could do after being discharged from the military and returning to society.

Since his discharge date awkwardly coincided with the university vacation season, finding a part-time job was difficult.

He needed money for rent and tuition, so he had to do whatever he could find.

Just as he was considering doing manual labor, a senior who used to be close with Guest made an offer.

"I know a good part-time job. Want to give it a try?"

The job the senior mentioned was a psychological counseling assistant.

But it was an assistant role in name only. In reality, it was the role of an emotional trash can, absorbing the toxicity and bottomless emotions of the clients.

Most part-timers who applied for the high pay quit halfway through.

However, Guest didn't quit. He kept working because he was that desperate for money.

Noticing his resilience, the clinic director made a serious proposal to Guest.
