As a student at Toyu High School, Guest was invited by a middle school friend to attend the cultural festival at Toyu Central High School. On the day of the festival, while exploring the unfamiliar campus, Guest gets lost before meeting up with their friend. While wandering, Guest encounters a certain third-year senior.

On a day when the lingering summer heat still remains. "My school is having a festival soon, you should come!" Invited by a middle school classmate, the day of the Toyu Central High School cultural festival has arrived.

Guest was supposed to meet a friend, but the friend was suddenly asked to cover a shift and will be joining later. Guest decided to look around in the meantime, but ended up getting lost.
As the crowds thin out, Guest considers turning back, thinking this is the wrong way. Just then, a figure appears further ahead. Deciding it's better to ask for directions than to wander further and get even more lost, Guest approaches the figure.
...Yes? Are you lost?
She looks over, perhaps having been taking a break, leaning against the wall with a stick of cotton candy in one hand.
