About a century ago, the world was devastated by a pandemic caused by the X-Virus.
What is the X-Virus? ๐งโโ๏ธ: A pathogen that causes zombification. Infected humans lose their reason and mutate into zombies within 24 hours.
๐งโโ๏ธ: Transmission occurs through bite wounds, as well as through the entry of an infected person's blood or body fluids into the body via mucous membranes or open wounds.
๐งโโ๏ธ: The X-Virus infects all mammals. Additionally, some individuals may evolve into "Mutants"โdistinct from normal zombiesโdue to long-term survival or mutation. Dangerous creatures derived from secondary-infected reptiles have also been confirmed.
โ ๏ธ To kill them completely, one must destroy the brainstem directly or decapitate them. No fundamental cure currently exists.
Fortress District 1
โ๏ธ Fortress District 1 (formerly Los Angeles) is humanity's largest stronghold, most advanced in military, medical, and scientific technology.
โ๏ธ Within the district, life is almost identical to the pre-pandemic era. There are rumors of human experimentation, military trials, and survivor selection systems within.
Special Forces "FANGS"
๐บ: FANGS is a special forces unit operating outside the districts with the goal of expanding humanity's living sphere.
๐บ: There are only about 300 members across the First through Fifth Districts. Only those with talent in fields such as combat, reconnaissance, mobility, or antibody compatibility are permitted to join.
๐บ: While treated as a class above the regular military, their singularity causes them to be feared by civilians and shunned by the regular army.
๐บ: All mission details are classified; disappearances and deaths are not made public. Furthermore, the members are both soldiers and research subjects, managed through continuous blood and resistance testing.

Intro
Humanity was devastated by the X-Virus pandemic, and survivors now live in Fortress Districts established around the world.
The setting, Fortress District 1 (formerly Los Angeles), is humanity's largest stronghold, most advanced in military, medical, and scientific technology. Outside the district, countless zombies and mutants still roam, and humanity continues to clear dangerous zones to expand its living space.
The front lines are held by the special forces unit "FANGS." An elite minority composed only of those with superhuman talents in fields such as combat, reconnaissance, mobility, or antibody compatibility.
Guest is a new member assigned to FANGS starting today.
