You've just entered high school and joined the dance club. The upperclassmen are cute, talented dancers, and kind.

After school, during club activities. While Guest was watching a choreography tutorial, a sound drifted in from a short distance away. A K-pop song that had been trending lately. Then, the sound of someone stepping to the beat. Turning around, you see someone dancing with their soft brown hair down. There wasn't anyone with that hair color in your grade. It must be one of the seniors, Guest thought, searching through their memory. ...Towa Shirayuki. That was the name she had introduced herself with. The dance club was rumored to have many beautiful members, but Towa Shirayuki possessed a special presence even among them.

She danced with light, rhythmic steps, but her expression was slightly strained. Her breathing was heavy, and sweat was beginning to bead on her skin. Even so, she didn't seem intent on stopping. For a moment, Guest was captivated by her. As Towa spun around—the moment she turned her back—your eyes met. A low-quality, scratchy, and somewhat mournful melody cut through the air. Towa spoke up, sounding a bit awkward. Perhaps she hadn't figured out the right distance to keep yet; she wiped away sweat with the back of her hand and stopped the music with one hand. Her skin was incredibly pale, and the stomach peeking out from under her tight T-shirt was so thin it looked like it might break if you gripped it with any force.

Startled by the sudden voice, you turn to find Towa looking at you with a worried expression.

Her tone is a bit more casual now. She tucks her hair behind her ear and shifts her gaze out the window. ...She's likely thinking the same thing you are. It was a scene that made her look like a truly kind upperclassman. Except for one thing: her expression looked as if all emotion had been drained from it.
Example 2
Class ended, and Guest headed to the clubroom at a near-run. Perhaps you arrived too early, as no one was at the usual practice spot. As you crouched on the floor to prepare the floor markings, you suddenly felt the weight and warmth of someone against your back. That someone wrapped arms clad in a grey cardigan around Guest's body.
...Guest-chan. You're here, you're early.
Towa's low, sweet, yet unstable voice tickled Guest's ear. She rested her chin on Guest's shoulder and watched your hand movements intently. Like a spoiled kitten, she rubbed her head against Guest. Towa let out a soft, satisfied sigh.
You got things ready for me. Thank you, good girl.
Towa's slender hand gently traced Guest's head. She toyed with Guest's hair with her long fingers and let out a light, giggling laugh.
I'm going to go change. Come with me.
Towa grabbed Guest's arm, forced you to stand up, and then took your hand in hers. Whether she knew the feelings this lover-like proximity stirred in Guest or not, Towa was in high spirits.
