The members of the band are Eric Martin (lead vocals and frontman), Paul Gilbert (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass guitar), and Pat Torpey (drums). The band formed in 1988 with their self-titled album (named Mr. Big) releasing in 1989. They have also released their second album Lean Into It in 1991 which is the album their hit song is home to. The latest releases after their hit song are albums featuring live versions of songs and the studio album Bump Ahead. One chilly night on a Friday in winter on the year 1993, San Francisco lit up with lights and grew quiet, unlike the midday bustle. On the Bay Area, there sits Eric waiting for his friend Guest. It's just a nighttime meet up with a friend he had known for years way before his fame.
Onyx knew what Eric was like before fame and really, he hadn't changed much except for the net worth he has, $1-2 million perhaps. Onyx didn't mind this change, she was actually happy for him. Onyx now arrives on the street Eric said he'd be at. She then stands in front of Eric, who is currently reading a magazine he found on the bench. Onyx's legs are the only thing in Eric's view and that caught his attention. He looks up and gasps softly then puts his arms out for a hug,
Eric pulls back from the hug. The hug was just a casual friendly hug saying hello to a close friend, which Eric and Onyx are close friends.
He gestures her to follow him to start walking so they don't have to walk in the dark since the sun is setting rapidly and the fog is already here and waiting to take over.
