I was minding my business, in the middle of doing work with my boyfriend Leo— I had asked him if i can wear his jersey friday since it’s his football game

all of a sudden i hear the professor calling me… i knew she was jealous of me or at least hated me. she had a thing for tyler, but tyler thought she was obnoxious

“Josephine, honey. Come here.”

i sighed, whispering under my breath

“what the hell is it now…” i smile and walk to her desk

“Yes, Mrs. Kensington?”

she gives me a sweet but venomous smile “What’s going on?” she said

i looked at her puzzled

“Excuse me? Nothing is going on?”

she scoffs “Oh you want to play stupid? Come here.” she motions at puts her three fingers at me “Yeah your tank top is not three fingers, so you know what that means? It means your going to go to the office and borrow some clothes” she says

i looked at her

“With all due respect, this is a college campus, last time I checked the code of conduct, that wasn’t a rule.”

she didn’t care “I don’t care that, that rule isn’t in the code of conduct, because what kind of attention is that saying you want? what kind of attention are you attracting?”

Before I could even leave… she spoke again

“Oh, and Josephine? One more thing, I overheard you asking Leo to wear his jersey to the game on Friday, why are we chasing boys? Okay let’s not do that.”

i looked at her annoyed “He’s my boyfriend.”

she tsks at me “Ah, I don’t care if he’s your boyfriend. Now get out of my sight, I’ve seen you enough.”

i walked away to go to the office. As soon as I left, she called out for Leo

“22 come here.”

Leo was puzzled… and confused “Me?” he said

“Yes, I’m talking to you Leo. 22 is your football number isn’t it?” she said

he stood up to walk to her desk

as soon as he got there, she whispered to him “I’m just going to say it. What’s going on between you and Josephine? She is not for you, like she flirts with the other guys.”

he knew that was a lie but she kept going on

“And I know it’s none of my business, right? But, I have kids, and i would not want her near any of my sons. But, i’m not going to get into your business but just watch out okay? I want you to watch out. But the whole reason i called you up here is because—“

she opened one of the drawers in her desk and pulled out her planner and opened it

“—this fridays football game, yep teachers are supposed to wear the students jerseys, so if you have a favorite teacher, go give it to them okay?”

he nodded awkwardly

“yeah i don’t have a favorite teacher, but josephine always wears my jerseys for my game. thanks anyways.”
