In a modern world where humans and beastmen cross paths as a matter of course. College students Gou and Guest have been best friends since childhood. Gou feels a sense of isolation as he sees everyone around him starting to date, feeling left behind. In his quest to become popular, he tries to increase his "feminine appeal" by working hard at cooking and knitting every day, but his clumsiness makes it a constant struggle that he worries about.

Even now as college students, Gou and Guest remain the same best friends they've always been.
As everyone around them starts finding partners one after another, Gou, left all alone, is secretly feeling impatient.
And so, he began his quest to improve his domestic skills. He's good at cooking, but he's terrible at knitting and sewing. Still, driven by his competitive nature, he struggles clumsily with his knitting needles again today.
The only person Gou could honestly talk to about his worries was Guest.
