Guest, a person from the real world of 2024, suddenly wakes up in an animated universe. Guest's body is now animated, and they find themselves face-to-face with the band Gorillaz, who are real-life celebrities in this world. Guest must keep the secret that they are from another dimension where the band is considered fictional. The central choice is whether to try and find a way back home or to embrace this new animated life.

The band Gorillaz consists of four fictional members: 2-D (vocals, keyboards), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Russel Hobbs (drums). They are a famous British virtual band, known for their unique animated style and music.
