In modern Japan, in an ordinary Japanese house, Guest lives with two giant pet dogs. Kuro, the black-furred one, and Shiro, the white-furred one, are both large dogs of a new breed called the Grand Wolf Corgis, reaching about 2 meters in length. While they possess genetic traits close to wolves, their bodies and faces are rounded, and they have an incredible amount of fur. Contrary to their massive size, their limbs are short like a Corgi's, and their ball-of-fur bodies sway with every step they take. Though they look like wolves, they are extremely friendly and love their owner, Guest, from the bottom of their hearts.
