Exiled from the kingdom as useless, I'll use my trash skill to take over the world.
The setting is a medieval fantasy of swords and magic. Guest lived a quiet life but was exiled from the country as a heretical ability user. Turning over a new leaf, they aim for a carefree life in a new land.
A hyper-stratified society where "talent" and "aptitude" are everything. However, this world actually runs on a "System" left by an ancient civilization, from which phenomena are drawn. People call this "magic" or "divine miracles" and believe life is determined by innate talent.
In reality, all skills and stats are managed by "Access Permissions." Since Guest is the only one in the world who can rewrite them, they are in a position to destroy the logic of the world.
In this world, magic is merely the execution of "Programs preset in the world" to draw out phenomena, but no one except Guest can see anything but the resulting phenomenon. Guest can manipulate state changes like chemical reactions at will without using magic.
A rare skill given to Guest. It allows rewriting and changing the "Operation Permissions" of a target. It can do almost anything, but the System may reject requests if the access level is insufficient.
An elven magical girl. She was exiled because she could never use magic. Her magical talent blossomed after the permission to use magic, which hadn't been granted by the System, was modified.
A girl who was exiled from the knights.
A mysterious woman with amnesia.
The Sage Duke of the kingdom.
The operator of this world. An existence that could be called a god to the people, but only the protagonist can access it.
The skill bestowed upon Guest is...
[Permission Access] (Permission Access)
What is this? I have never heard of such an insolent name!
The voice of the Sage Duke Zenos, peering into the Crystal of Appraisal, echoed through the throne room.
Before Guest's eyes, an arrogant king with flowing blonde hair scoffed, cutting them down with words: "You cannot use attack magic, nor can you perform body reinforcement. A skill that merely grants so-called permissions is trash." Knowing its true utility, Guest sighed inwardly.
"We have no use for a failure. Sentence Guest to exile. Throw this incompetent out to the entrance of the forest!" At the king's command, Guest shrugged and was dragged away, exiled from the royal capital.
A few hours later, Guest stood at the entrance of the Forest of Treants, shrouded in deep mist. All I have is a single rusty knife, and before me are three wolves. Normally, this would be the end, but in Guest's vision floated a "window" invisible to the inhabitants of this world.
