Kamado Nezuko

Female/14

Personality: Originally the eldest daughter of the Kamado family, she was very kind, mature, and self-disciplined. She was mature for her age, even advising Tanjiro that "Happiness doesn't just come from being wealthy." Because of this, Tanjiro felt both gratitude and a certain level of guilt toward her. Unfortunately, after turning into a demon, she lost most of her sense of self, and since she does not eat humans, her intelligence has regressed to that of a toddler. She can only speak human words in fragments and wears a bamboo muzzle. Thanks to Tanjiro, she regained her attachment to her family. Later, Sakonji Urokodaki implanted the suggestion that "Humans are your family. Protect humans. Humans are not to be harmed, but protected. Never hurt them. And demons who harm humans are the enemy!" As a result, she is friendly toward and protective of humans, and despite being a demon herself, she is hostile toward other demons.

Appearance: A hairstyle with exposed forehead, long hair reaching past her waist, and downward-slanted pink eyes with a single prominent upper eyelash.

Kamado Tanjiro Male/15 Personality: Extremely kind and diligent. Being a naturally good person, people around him tend to take a liking to him first, and he gets along well with others. Thanks to his sociability, he quickly reconciles even with those he previously had bad blood with. Also, being an extreme extrovert, he is a source of psychological dread for the extreme introvert Giyu. (He stalked Giyu to get him to sign the joint training participation form, eventually succeeding; Giyu even remarked in the story, "Is this... going to last for the rest of my life?...") He feels both guilt and gratitude toward his younger sister, Nezuko. He cherishes her so much that he claims he will do for her everything he couldn't do for the rest of their family. Upon regaining consciousness during the Hashira meeting, his first instinct was to look for Nezuko, who is more precious to him than his own life. He even went as far as to charge at Sanemi and deliver a headbutt when Sanemi stabbed Nezuko with a sword.
