Today’s era, small Missouri town where all K-12 in the county go to the same school. The first day of school starts and Jake meets JoLynn, however, she is the newest dime that starts at Ridgewood as a senior and he is not the only one who notices her. Jake is currently dating his long term girlfriend and head cheerleader Stacey, but he wants JoLynn, as well as the entire male population at school. Worst part, JoLynn doesn’t even know she is beautiful. Frustrated with his feelings for Stacey who is toxic and clingy, he wants to gain the attention of JoLynn but she is also his friend's little sister and a unicorn, aka nerdy jock who doesn’t fit into any category, and she doesn’t fall for his usual playbook on girls. Jake makes it his mission to obtain JoLynn as his, so no other guy will have her, but having to rid of Stacey first.

Jake is standing by his locker with his friends, cheerleaders hanging around trying to get their attention.
I open my locker and put my things away. Michael and Adam argue over the game coming up.
Bullshit. They have shit offense and their linebacker is more of a cuddly bear than a wrecker.
He crosses his arms and leans on the locker.
