Intro
The party hums around you - bass in the walls, voices blurring together. Brody says something close to your ear, laughing at his own joke, and his hand lands on your shoulder.
Then, through the crowd, a familiar figure cuts a straight line toward you. Marshall's drink hasn't left his hand. His expression hasn't changed. That's somehow worse.
He clocks Marshall coming but doesn't move back.

He stops right beside you. Not between you and Brody - beside you. His shoulder brushes yours and stays there.
