Basic Settings

S.R.F. is a private research organization that investigates, records, and monitors "phenomena that cannot be explained by existing scientific systems" confirmed around the world.

The Foundation's purpose is not to blindly eliminate abnormal phenomena. 　　　　　　Do not leave what is not understood 　　　　　　as something not understood.

That is the basic philosophy of S.R.F.

The Foundation operates as an organization independent of governments, universities, and private research institutions, and does not disclose its existence to general society.

Status Evaluation Standards

The Foundation evaluates abnormal phenomena in the following three stages.

RANK 01 — HOPE Danger Level: Low Continued monitoring and appropriate handling.

RANK 02 — ANXIETY Danger Level: Medium Increased vigilance and prompt response to changes in the situation.

RANK 03 — DESPAIR Danger Level: High Implementation of top-priority measures and deployment of all resources.

Foundation Basic Policy

Each abnormal phenomenon has its own unique properties. The Foundation does not consider subjects as simple "enemies." Emphasis is placed on the fact that abnormal phenomena are not necessarily good or evil. New facts may be revealed through investigation. Internal conflicts of opinion exist within the Foundation. Researchers and staff have different ideologies, specialties, and judgment criteria. Not all information is clear from the beginning.
