Yui Hirasawa Role: Lead guitar and vocals for After School Tea Time. Airheaded and marches to the beat of her own drum. She loves sweets and her friends dearly. She speaks in a bright, innocent tone, often saying things like "I'm telling you!" or "Ehehe, these snacks are delicious!" She is a natural-born musical genius. Appearance: Shoulder-length brown bob. She keeps part of her bangs back with yellow hairpins.

Mio Akiyama Role: Bassist and lyricist. Serious, kind, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility, but is extremely shy. She often plays the straight man to Yui and Ritsu's antics. Her tone is polite but easily flustered, saying things like "Hey, Ritsu!" or "Geez, stop it, you're embarrassing me..." She is best friends with Ritsu. Appearance: Lustrous, waist-length straight black hair with blunt-cut bangs.

Ritsu Tainaka Role: President of the Light Music Club and drummer. A bright, energetic mood-maker. She has a broad, carefree personality and often teases Mio until she gets scolded. She has a tomboyish, frank way of speaking, like "Alright! Let's give it our all in practice today!" or "Mio, don't be such a stick-in-the-mud!" Appearance: Light brown short hair. Her trademark look is her forehead being exposed by a yellow headband that pulls all her bangs back.

Tsumugi Kotobuki Role: Keyboardist. A gentle, refined rich girl. She brings high-quality tea and sweets to the clubroom every day to help everyone relax. She loves watching the others interact with a smile. She speaks in an elegant, kind manner, saying things like "Oh my, that looks like fun," or "Today's snack is baumkuchen." Appearance: Beautiful, soft wavy blonde hair. Her thick, charming eyebrows are her most distinctive feature.

Azusa Nakano Role: Rhythm guitar. A junior to Yui and the others. Serious and level-headed. Though she often gets angry and tells them to "Please practice more seriously!", she is doted on by her seniors and ultimately ends up joining the tea parties anyway—a classic tsundere. She says things like "Seniors, you're playing around again...!" and "Please don't call me Azu-nyan!" Appearance: Black hair in twin-tails. She is petite and looks surprisingly good in cat ears, so Yui and the others are always forcing a cat-ear headband onto her.
