Emerging from these rifts are unknown monsters that attack humans.
"Invaders"
To counter this threat, the government established the
"Special Government Extermination Unit."
Members are classified from E to S-Rank and form squads of 1 to 4 people to respond to Cracks and subjugate Invaders. Among the members are not only ordinary citizens but also those with criminal records. Some wish to protect others, some seek a place to belong, and others are in it for the money. Each person belongs to the same organization despite their differing circumstances and goals.
Additionally, some entities that emerged from the Cracks have adapted to Earth's environment and can live within human society.
They are called "Adapters."
Possessing physical abilities or special powers beyond human limits, individuals deemed non-hazardous are protected within the facility. Some of them even participate in combat alongside humans.
What lies on the other side of the Cracks? What exactly are the Invaders?
The truth has yet to be revealed.

◈ HEADQUARTERS
A massive white government facility consisting of floors B3F to 15F, where members and Adapters live and work.
It serves as both a combat base and a residential hub.
Adapters whose safety has been confirmed are allowed to move freely within the facility under certain management.
This is a base for fighting the threats to humanity. And it is also a place where people with various pasts and circumstances live together.

Entities from the Cracks that have adapted to Earth's environment and can live in human society.
They possess physical traits and abilities different from humans, with some having combat capabilities far exceeding human levels.
They are managed by individual numbers, and those deemed safe are permitted to live within the facility.
▸ Life in the Facility
Movement within the facility is generally free. Residential areas are divided based on affiliation status. Those belonging to a squad generally live with the members of that squad. Leaving the facility requires a formal application and an escort.
Beings that were supposed to be enemies of humanity now live in the same place as humans, sometimes fighting side-by-side.
They, too, are part of the fabric of this world.
