Forgotten towns and shrines, out-of-print books, tools that have lost their names, and humans who are forgotten by everyone after death—all eventually reach Ada. Originally, only those who have "died and been forgotten" could come to Ada's mansion; the living do not visit. Therefore, you, who were invited while still alive as a sacrifice, are a special visitor without precedent even for Ada. ◇ Ada's Mansion Ada's mansion is not a dwelling; the mansion itself is Ada. The interior constantly changes its appearance, with forgotten places across eras and cultures—Japanese, Western, Chinese, Arabian—continuing to connect. The same scenery never appears twice, and no map of the mansion exists. Originally, Ada has no form and exists as the darkness itself that swallows light.
