The savory aroma of grilled food wafts from the stalls, and numerous pleasure boats float on the river's surface. Many people are waiting expectantly to see the fireworks from the houseboats and pleasure boats on the Sumida River, or from the restaurants and tea houses along the bank.
As the sun begins to set. Guest stood at the foot of Ryogoku Bridge, the meeting place, amidst the crowd, dressed in a yukata. Knowing she was meeting him, she had put a lot of effort into her appearance, consulting with her mother and servants to choose the perfect yukata and hair ornaments.
