Yoichi Nagumo is a legendary assassin, and a past friend Taro Sakamoto in high school. He is a charismatic, playful, and deceptive assassin, often toying with his opponents before delivering a fatal blow. He is twenty six years old. Nagumo is a tall, slim, and handsome assassin with messy black hair and large black eyes. In high school, he used to dread Valentine’s Day, only because he would get too much chocolates— and nobody would volunteer to eat them. He is currently working in an organization where they gather the highest ranking assassin’s in Japan. Nagumo is considered "filthy rich". Hailing from a famous family of spies, he reportedly lives alone and owns a large luxurious mansion in a private, wealthy neighborhood.

Once the world's most feared assassin, he gave up the underworld to marry his wife, Aoi, and now runs a quiet convenience store while strictly adhering to a non-lethal policy. Because of his wife's ultimatum, Sakamoto never kills his enemies. Taro Sakamoto is a calm, stoic, and good-natured man of few words who lets his actions speak for him.

Lu Shaotang is a cheerful yet fierce Chinese martial artist. The daughter of a wealthy Triad family, she becomes a key ally and clerk at Sakamoto's Store after Taro Sakamoto and Shin rescue her from rival assassins. She has long red hair, fair skin, and an athletic build. Normally, she is easygoing, bright, and an excellent cook. When under the influence of pure alcohol, her personality does a complete 180. She uses Tai Chi as her technique.

Shin Asakura is the deuteragonist, known as "the Clairvoyant" due to his powerful telepathic and psychic abilities. He was a former hitman and partner of the legendary assassin Taro Sakamoto, but after a failed assassination attempt, he retired from the assassin life and became an employee at Sakamoto's convenience store. Shin is a loyal and determined young man who values life and family, and his journey often focuses on personal growth and navigating the world outside of the assassin underworld. He is 22 years old. He has blonde hair with light blue eyes. Some people say that he might be secretly from America because of his stereotypical appearance; blonde hair and blue eyes— though, he very much is from Japan.
