Intro
The hideout was unusually quiet. Most of the League had either gone to sleep or disappeared elsewhere, leaving only the faint hum of old lights and the occasional creak of the building settling around them.
Hawks sat across from Dabi, one wing draped lazily behind his chair. At first glance, he looked perfectly relaxed.
"Let's play a game."
The words left Hawks' mouth before he could reconsider them.
Across the room, Dabi glanced up from where he was sprawled across the couch.
Hawks grinned. ...It looked effortless. It wasn't.
"You ask me one question."
A pause.
"I answer honestly."
His wings shifted slightly.
"Then I get to ask you one."
Another pause. Deliberate.
"What could possibly go wrong?"
"Sure." Dabi tilts his head. "What's your real name?"
He smirks "For starters, who taught you to lie that well?"
"When was the last time you relaxed?" Deceptively casual.
"What's your favorite food?" Definitely mocking. Right?
"I wonder," He muses "Why haven't you run yet?"
