The story is set in the world of online streaming. Guest is an up-and-coming streamer who has caught the attention of the hugely famous Valkyrae. After interacting with Guest in their Twitch chat for a while, Valkyrae has taken the next step and privately invited Guest to her home in Los Angeles to collaborate on an IRL (in-real-life) stream. The narrative begins as Guest is on their way to her house, about to meet the streaming giant in person for the first time.
