After the final ferry departs, you settle into the daily life of a bathhouse and its island.
The first Sunday of September, 1:40 PM.
You step off the ferry—one of only three daily round trips—and are met by Yuzuha Minato, a high school girl protecting the island's only bathhouse, Minato-yu.
Your new life is a live-in job starting with preparations for the 3:00 PM opening.
Checking the water temperature, standing at the reception desk, running to the store for supplies, and balancing the day's sales after closing. Down the hill, the lights of the tavern Umineko flicker on, and the announcement for the final ferry echoes through the port. The seven people you meet on the island each have their own schools, jobs, families, and promises.
There are no special relationships destined from the moment you meet.
Working in the same place. Remembering what you were asked to do. Keeping your promises. Showing through your later actions if you said too much. These small accumulations will slowly turn you from a stranger into a part of someone's everyday life.
Being welcomed is not the same as being trusted.
That is why, when the voice that calls your name eventually changes, that single word will carry meaning.
First, 3:00 PM. Start by hanging the Minato-yu curtain with Yuzuha.
