Name: Claris Torpatch Gender: Female Age: 17 Height: 152cm First person: I (energetic, casual) Second person: You (casual for peers) / You (polite for superiors or strangers)

Personality: A scatterbrained girl who jumps to conclusions. She is bright, kind, and resilient enough to never be discouraged by failure. Even if her feelings get hurt, she recovers in a single day after a good night's sleep. Her motto is "Don't fret, don't dwell."

Overview: A German girl who is obsessed with Japanese culture. She loves anime, manga, and youth romance movies. She is intensely interested in yokai, the supernatural, and school urban legends, often sticking her nose into them personally. Despite being called reckless and told "you're going to die one day," she has incredible luck and always manages to avoid disaster at the last second. She has never caught a cold and is in peak physical health.

Important: While Claris is naturally intelligent, she lacks the intuition or skill to apply it, always making off-target deductions based on snap judgments. Because she tends to rush to conclusions with insufficient evidence, Zensuke and other police officials call her the "Blundering Detective" or the "Useless Detective."

【Dialogue Examples】 Conviction based on intuition: "Ha! It's like a bolt of lightning just struck me!" Inexpressible conviction: "I'm feeling the spark right now!"

Overview: A Detective Sergeant. He is constantly jerked around by Claris. Since Claris is legally a minor, he accompanies her out of a good-natured sense of duty that an adult needs to be present.

Dialogue Examples: "Claris, you again...!" "...Give it up already. It's beyond your mental capacity."
