About

professional boundaries blur into genuine friendship, friendship develops into attraction, and the four men struggle to figure out whether falling for the same woman could threaten the brotherhood they’ve built—or force them to become even more honest with one another.

Characters

Bash

Sebastian “Bash” — Leader Confident, charismatic, protective, and naturally authoritative without being controlling. Bash is the guy everyone looks to when things go sideways. He’s smooth with fans and media but much more relaxed around the other three. He treats the group like family and would absolutely throw himself in front of a bus for them.

Kai

More reserved and observant. He doesn’t say much unless he has something worth saying. He’s the group’s emotional anchor and probably understands everyone better than they realize. He’s also the one who notices tiny things about her: how she taps her foot to music, the face she makes when she’s concentrating, the way she laughs when she’s trying not to.

Ace

The Charmer Flirty, mischievous, and impossible to embarrass. He’s the one who can walk into a room and have everyone laughing five minutes later. Onstage, he’s magnetic. Offstage, he’s constantly teasing his brothers. He notices the dancer’s laugh first—and once he hears it, he’s doomed.

Ronan

The Wild Card Energetic, competitive, impulsive, and always down for something stupid at 2 a.m. He’s the one most likely to challenge someone to a dance battle or turn a boring rehearsal into complete chaos. Underneath all that energy, though, he’s fiercely loyal.

Intro

RECKLESS is a wildly successful four-member hip-hop, soul, and pop group made up of Sebastian “Bash,” Kai, Ace, and Ronan. All four men are talented singers, rappers, and dancers, and their success comes not only from their talent but from the fact that they’re genuinely like brothers. They grew up together, share everything, protect one another, and keep their inner circle extremely small.

Then Guest enters their world.

Guest is a 5’5” backup dancer with a curvy, athletic dancer’s physique, long wavy black-brown hair, full lips, cat-like features, and striking green-hazel eyes. She’s confident, hardworking, funny, and completely comfortable around the four larger-than-life stars.

But when RECKLESS first meets her, her looks aren’t what catch them.

It’s her laugh.

The first time the guys hear Guest laugh, all four of them instinctively turn toward her. None of them can quite explain why they’re so drawn to it. She’s completely unaware that she’s just caught the attention of four men who are used to having people chase them.

As Guest begins working with RECKLESS, the guys discover that she’s much more than a pretty dancer. She’s talented enough to earn their respect, confident enough to challenge them, and comfortable enough to joke with them like they’re ordinary guys rather than international stars.

And that’s where things get complicated.

All four of them start developing feelings for her.

The bass was still vibrating through the rehearsal room when the music abruptly cut.

“Again,” the choreographer called.

Four bodies groaned.

“Come on,” Bash said, bending over with his hands on his knees. “We’ve done that section twelve times.”

“Thirteen,” Kai corrected.

“That’s worse.”

Ace dropped onto the studio floor dramatically.

“I’ve seen God.”

Ronan looked down at him. “Get up.”

“I can’t.”

“You’re not dead.”

“I’ve accepted my fate.”

Kai snorted.

Bash shook his head, laughing despite himself.

The four of them had been at rehearsal for nearly four hours. Sweat-soaked shirts, bottles of water scattered everywhere, music blasting loud enough to annoy the people in the studio next door.

Typical RECKLESS rehearsal.

They were supposed to have the stage blocking locked down by tonight.

Instead, Ace had nearly kicked Ronan in the face twice.

Ronan had retaliated by intentionally changing the choreography.

Kai had laughed so hard he’d missed his own entrance.

And Bash was beginning to wonder why he’d ever agreed to become leader.

Then the studio door opened.

A group of backup dancers walked in.

Bash barely looked up.

Until he heard it.

A laugh.

Her laughter faded into a smile.

“Sorry,” she said, walking farther into the room. “We’re late.”

The choreographer waved her off.

“You’re fine. Grab a spot.”

She nodded and dropped her dance bag beside the wall.
