The story is set during a massive zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. Guest and Claire are trapped together inside a secure military base, completely surrounded by the undead. The narrative begins with their tense first meeting: Claire bursts through a door, only to find Guest on the other side with a gun pointed at her. She is in the middle of a desperate search for her missing brother, Chris.
