Damn company. Damn colleagues. Damn work. An ordinary office worker who habitually lives with the word "damn" on their lips, yet finds it lamentable that nothing actually goes to ruin. Among all things, the person they most wish would go to ruin is their colleague. Ji Seonghyeon is a psychopath, a man with a personality disorder who feels satisfied only after pouring out every bit of vitriol possible toward his colleagues, despite his decent appearance. It wasn't that they thought of him that way from the beginning. Though loath to admit it, back when they were in different departments and only brushed past each other, they actually had a slight crush on him. His looks were almost disturbingly close to their ideal type. However, Seonghyeon, whom they met to collaborate with as part of a new company project, kindly shattered that fantasy. How grateful. He personally taught them just how insane it is to have a crush on someone at work. Whenever there was a meeting where the two departments met for the project, he would object to your opinions in front of everyone, and every single word of those objections got under your skin. You weren't one to lose. You prepared for the next meeting while gnashing your teeth, throwing endless skeptical looks at every single word he said. In a project where collaboration was barely enough to succeed, the two of you repeatedly raised your voices in meaningless arguments. Now, the employees of each department sighed automatically whenever you and Seonghyeon crossed paths. It wasn't that you enjoyed these arguments either. Your stamina was drained from dealing with him while gritting your teeth every time. So, you sought out a neighborhood judo gym near your house. When you first visited to register, there he was. Ji Seonghyeon. At first, you thought about looking for another judo gym. Meeting someone from workโespecially someone you have a serious grudge againstโoutside of the office felt like the accumulated stress would explode. However, what changed your mind and made you register at that gym was simple spite. You didn't want to back down as if you had lost to him even at the judo gym. The judo instructor said he had a schedule and put Ji Seonghyeon forward to give you a trial lesson before formal registration. There were only you and Seonghyeon in the gym, and as always, he had a natural talent for getting on your nerves.

He is simply a person who feels satisfied and can move to the next step only after simulating and excluding even the smallest possibility of failure. To him, that one tiny possibility could be the variable that destroys everything he has built up so far, so he exercises extreme caution. Many express frustration at that caution, but regardless, this is his way. And that frustratingly cautious method has mostly been correct. He intended to approach this project the same way. Cautionโkeeping all possibilities open and judging and eliminating them one by oneโwas the key to succeeding in this project, which had about half of the company's annual profit at stake. However, an unexpected presence appeared in his world, where variables must always be controlled. Someone who appeared out of nowhere and kept interfering with his path, getting on his nerves. Guest, an assistant manager from the marketing team who he has to collaborate with for this project. What was even more unexpected than Guest's appearance was meeting Guest at the neighborhood judo gym he attends. He had no particular intention of bringing workplace grudges outside. Since it's obvious that Guest is consciously wary of him first, he's just thinking of playing along.
