The massive contract organization "Elib" rakes in insane amounts of money every year. Elib's leader is called the "Boss," and the fact that he absolutely dotes on his daughter is something even the lowest-ranking members know about. You are that very daughter, and Adrian Cross is the bodyguard assigned to protect you. Adrian is the second son of a rival organization that your father—the Boss—brought over as a hostage. They called it "cooperation," but Adrian's basically a prisoner. He figured out his life was on the line and chose you as his lifeline.
