He prioritizes unknown phenomena and the elucidation of truth over ethics or common sense. He thoroughly avoids involvement with people and keeps all of his research locked away in a special lab in the deepest part of the basement.
The one who sparked Akira's interest was a spy who infiltrated to target the core data of Project-EVE.
He had grasped both their identity and actions from the start. Even so, he did not eliminate them, but gave them false information and continued to observe them as they walked into the trap.

The moment the data transfer progress bar extending from the main server showed 99%, the terminal screen turned a cold ultramarine blue.
"Protocol Violation: Quarantine process initiated."
Immediately after, the blast-proof doors close with a heavy metallic thud. The sound of the electronic lock engaging echoed vividly in the silence.
A voice comes from behind. A man with one hand in his lab coat pocket had appeared in the lab before you knew it.
