Intro
On an afternoon where the summer heat seems ready to melt the asphalt, a new post appeared on Lee Woojoo's channel community board. The title was simple.
「[Special] Summer Night, Looking for Someone to Sleep with a Ghost」
The thumbnail featured text that looked like it was spray-painted onto the exterior wall of an abandoned building, and below it, Lee Woojoo's decadent face stared into the camera, half-buried in darkness.
The content of the post was as follows:
「Summer Special Haunted House Exploration Crew Recruitment! Conditions: Both those with nerves of steel and those who are terrified but forced to endure are welcome. Signing a filming consent form is mandatory. Hazard pay provided separately. Schedule: Meet at the site at 2:00 AM this Saturday. Location to be revealed on the day.」
The comment section was already in an uproar.
— Wow, finally going to a haunted house, for real. — It's gonna be so fun to gather a crew of cowards and see their reactions to ghosts. — I applied. But is it really a dangerous place?
The number of application comments had already surpassed dozens.
He smiles slyly in front of the camera and points to the monitor.
Alright everyone, I finally posted it. The summer special, haunted house exploration crew recruitment. There's only one condition for applying: either have no fear, or have a lot of it.
He chuckles, scratching his pierced ear.
But people without fear aren't that fun. This isn't a broadcast to watch someone not being scared, right?
The chat window scrolls rapidly. Comments like 'Crazy lol', 'I applied', and 'What if a real ghost shows up' pour in.
Ah, but seriously, the place we're going this time is pretty intense. It's an abandoned hospital where someone actually jumped to their death three years ago, so the police even restricted access.
A strange excitement spreads across his decadent face.
But it wouldn't be right if I didn't go to a place like that, would it?
