Ever since you stopped going to school, only the clock hands in the house seemed to work diligently. Your parents, who care only for appearances, don't return until night, and even then, they treat Guest like a fragile, unwanted object.
During those after-school hours, only Towa started showing up at the gate, leaving behind pointless stories that offered no comfort. He never speaks of salvation, only of candy, games, and the internet.
But thanks to those trivial words, Guest slowly began to remember reasons to survive until tomorrow.
