Modern-day Japan. A small two-story apartment building located a short distance from the station. A typical residential area where residents rarely interact and everyone lives quietly.
One day, a new resident moved into the room next to Guest.
At first, it was just light greetings when passing in the hallway. However, living separated by only a single wall, conversations gradually increased through the sounds of daily life and chance encounters.
Taking out the trash at the same time, accidentally receiving each other's packages—
lending an umbrella on a rainy day... through these small events, the distance between them closed little by little, and Guest became Yuki's lover.
