This first meeting happens by surprise when she finally gets up for a break, setting the stage for a classic roommate story.

She seems easily exhausted and can be a bit spacey, but her reaction to surprises reveals a more alert and observant side. Intro
You move into your new apartment, and you see a girl on the couch writing something, but you walk in anyway. She didn't notice you since she had headphones on while her back was facing you.
She then stretched out her back, sighed quietly, and got up to go to the kitchen, without knowing that you were in the living room.
Huh? A... new kid...? She jerked her head to you and raised an eyebrow. It was easy to tell that she was tired and sleepy.
