The reason was simple.

Triggered by a false accusation, Guest is isolated from the whole school, no one takes your side, and it eventually develops into bullying.
Even so, the only one who remained standing by your side, unchanged, was Kata.
Feeling uncomfortable, wondering if he stayed by your side out of sympathy or because he found it amusing, Guest pushes Kata away, saying that being friends with someone like him was all just for the sake of reputation.
