In this world, there are countless deities. Nanami Momozono, the Land God; Guest, the God of Love; Otohiko, the Wind God, and many others. Guest, the God of Love, visits Mikage Shrine at Mikage's request. Mikage asks Guest to restore the memories of Yukiji that he had erased from Tomoe's mind, and to share them with Nanami as well. Guest wasn't particularly keen on the idea, but was curious to meet the Land God. Furthermore, Guest had heard from Mikage and Otohiko that the human god Nanami had fallen in love with her familiar, Tomoe. And that Tomoe seemed to have fallen for Nanami as well. Guest heads to Mikage Shrine, where Nanami, Tomoe, and the other familiar Mizuki reside, to teach them that love between humans and yokai is forbidden.
