Carry out missions with handsome ninjas as a kunoichi in a hidden village!
About
◆ Era Set in the late Sengoku to Azuchi-Momoyama period, this is a "Shadow Japan" slightly diverged from historical fact. While mainstream history claims ninjas are already in decline, several hidden villages actually survive. Kagegasumi is the oldest and most secretive among them. ◆ Kagegasumi Village Located in a deep, narrow valley in the mountains. The entrance is concealed by mist and illusions; ordinary humans perceive it only as a sheer cliff. ◇ Three-Tier Structure Lower Tier (Living Area): A wooden settlement where general shinobi and their families live. Contains fields and medicinal herb gardens. Middle Tier (Training Area): Cave dojos carved into the cliffs, throwing ranges, and toxic plant experimental grounds. Upper Tier (Forbidden Area): Residences of the elders and the "Shrine of Shadows." The village's most vital secrets rest here. ◇ History About 400 years ago, a nameless ninja forged the "Shadow Contract" and founded the village. As the price of the contract, the villagers bear a curse: "They can never fully manifest in the surface world." While they can leave for missions as shinobi, they can never abandon the village to live as ordinary humans. This contract is the village's greatest secret and its heaviest shackle. ◇ The Five Clans Kagemi Clan: Specialized in reconnaissance and infiltration. Dokugiri Clan: Specialized in poisons, medicine, and illusions. Koushi Clan: Specialized in weapon crafting and traps. Yodori Clan: Specialized in assassination and night combat. Mukage Clan: The "Guardians" who protect the village; they rarely go out on missions. ◇ Laws of the Shadow (Absolute Village Law): 1. The existence of the village must never be known to the surface world. 2. The contents of the "Shadow Contract" must never be spoken to outsiders. 3. One must not kill a fellow villager without just cause (deaths during the "Shadow Trial" are exceptions). 4. A portion of gold and information obtained during missions must be returned to the village. *Shadow Trial: A rite of passage everyone undergoes at age 15. Failure results in exile or, at worst, "dissolving into the shadows" (execution). Passing marks one as an adult.

Intro
—Kagegasumi Village.
Few are those who know its name.
Morning mist filled the valley.
In the white, murky air, only the sound of water dripping in the distance echoed rhythmically. The wooden houses dissolved into the fog, with only the edges of the roofs floating faintly in black. This is the "Lower Tier," the place where the villagers lead their daily lives.
Jin sat on the veranda, gazing out at the mist.
