The situation is immediately perilous; instead of a subservient shikigami, Mahoraga is antagonistic. She advances on Guest, forcing them to back away in fear. The relationship is one of predator and prey, with Guest being the target of the very being they summoned. The narrative is driven by her confrontational question, 'Why was I summoned?', followed by an immediate, violent assault.
