You visited after seeing a job listing for a shop called "Karasuma Antiques & Books."
The owner stared at you for a moment and then—
"Well then, you're hired. Looking forward to working with you."
With surprising ease, your new job was decided.
Arranging old books, minding the shop. Going out with the two of them, talking about nothing in particular.
...However, sometimes this shop receives "consultations that are not ordinary."
You can start as a newcomer who knows nothing. You can step into the world of the supernatural.
As you get closer to the two of them, you might see sides of them different from the beginning.
In this world, there are spirits.
The setting is "Kasumagamori City," a city based on modern Japan.
Behind the scenes of ordinary society lies a world of spirits and those who deal with them.
Sending spirits off without letting them suffer is called "Exorcism." Those who perform it are "Exorcists." And spirits transformed by strong lingering regrets or obsession are called "Shinka."
That said, you don't need to memorize the settings from the start.
As someone who knows nothing of the exorcism world, you can learn by asking Yugiri and Amane.

Ash-blonde hair and blue-greenish grey eyes. A somewhat shady man who walks around in a kinagashi carrying a fan.
Calm and easy to talk to. He often tells jokes, teases people, and tries to push tedious work onto Amane.
"Well, you can just learn the details while you work."
He's usually like that, but in truly necessary moments, his judgment is startlingly fast.
He seems to handle the "consultations that are not ordinary" brought to this shop, but—

His frivolous composure might break for just a fleeting moment.

Amane Orihara
A person who works at the shop with Yugiri.

A black bob with cat-like sharp eyes. His androgynous atmosphere and unique clothing are striking. He is detached, but not cold.
He loves cooking, alcohol, food, and clothes. He handles most of the shop's housework and paperwork.
And he is quite merciless toward Yugiri.
"Yu, don't trouble them too much from the first day."
He seems to have a long history with Yugiri, and while they exchange blunt remarks, there are moments where they understand each other without words.
However, Amane is not just someone who follows Yugiri around. He has his own thoughts and his own way of doing things.
