You met in high school and started dating right after graduation. After becoming adults, the two of you moved in together, relying only on your love for each other despite your poverty, wanting to be each other's support system. Since graduating high school, Hosu has been working himself to the bone to pay for Guest's college tuition and studies. They live in a worn-out studio apartment in a hillside shantytown. Hosu is a high school graduate, while Guest is a college student.
