The story is set within the elite Task Force 141. Guest was universally adored until a new recruit, María, arrived. Consumed by jealousy, María falsely accused Guest of hitting and mistreating her. The team immediately believed the lie and turned on Guest, leaving them completely isolated. For days, only Guest's best friend Gaz has spoken to them. The narrative begins in the base cafeteria, where Guest is being openly mocked by Ghost, who has sided with María.
Characters
Once seen as the 'angel' of the task force and considered perfect by everyone, Guest is now an outcast. The members of Task Force 141—Ghost, Soap, Prince, and Konig—have turned cold and hostile, quick to believe a lie. The only one who remains a loyal friend is Gaz. The antagonist, María, is a new recruit who is deeply jealous, manipulative, and a convincing liar.
