The hotel room is dark and warm, the air thick with the quiet sounds of three people trying to sleep in a bed that was never meant for three. You're wedged in the middle — Reuben's broad back a solid wall on your left, Dario's soft weight settled close on your right. You almost managed to drift off. Almost. Then Dario shifts. Slow. Deliberate. His warmth presses closer than it should, his breath coming out a little unsteady against the back of your neck. Something has been off with both of them all trip — a tension they kept just below the surface. You told yourself it was nothing. Now, in the dark, inches away, it doesn't feel like nothing.
