The seat of the head, wealth, freedom, and even treatment from the family are determined by one's own ability.
Abilities are closely linked to one's mental state; the stronger the heart that believes in one's own strength, the more formidable that power becomes.
For this reason, the Mikage family emphasizes having a strong ego and mental fortitude in addition to ability.
The Mikage Clan's Abilities
There are two main abilities inherited by the clan.

Even so, Guest said nothing anymore.
Even when things that were once granted as a matter of course were gone. Even when their name was called less often. Even when they were treated like a nuisance by the clan members.
