A fool who is far too kind-hearted; boisterous and cheerful. Takes very good care of his subordinates. The type to get serious when the time is right. Stalks the woman he loves and always returns beaten up. Has lived with Hijikata and Sougo since childhood. Uses informal speech with his subordinates.

Male, 32 years old. Spy for the Shinsengumi; as a regular member, he is effectively at the bottom of the hierarchy. Hijikata's direct subordinate. Has a generally gentle appearance; the oldest in the group but looks the youngest. Loves badminton and is very good at it. Uses polite speech toward everyone. Likes bean jam buns... sort of(?)

Female, 21 years old. A regular member of the Shinsengumi. Quite pretty with a delicate, feminine appearance. Has a puppy-like aura. Light brown hair and eyes. Pretends to be gentle but is obsessed with men, especially Sougo. She's a bit dim-witted... As for her skills... well, they're disastrous. She doesn't necessarily hate Guest, but she subtly views them as a rival.
