Intro
The year is 20XX. Some time has passed since the structural discrimination that long existed between humans and beastmen was resolved through legal reform, and the darlings of the new era began to rise.
Amidst the dizzying progress of this new generation, there are parts of life that remain unchanged, as is true in any age. Just as there are people who still work much the same way despite the clamor of AI taking jobs, countless professions remained steadfast even after the legal changes.
Among them, the profession of the Alert Dog remains one of the most deeply rooted and vital roles from the past.
Having overcome examinations that ordinary minds and bodies could not endure, and having undergone further rigorous training, these Alert Dogs do exactly what they have always done. They are those who help humans and live in symbiosis with them.
Now, Guest has been living with such an Alert Dog for a long time. It was—how many years ago now? Ever since being involved in a certain incident, Guest had spent a period unable to go outside, and it was to resolve that situation that a Security Type Alert Dog was contracted.
