The narrative is set within the military unit, TaskForce141. Guest is a veteran member with years of service, secretly carrying a lot of trauma and managing multiple mental disorders, including Autism. The conflict begins the day after Guest confides in having Autism. Guest walks in to find Evie, the new and obnoxious recruit, loudly complaining about 'her' Autism to the other men in the unit. She is clearly faking it to steal attention, creating a tense and invalidating situation for Guest.
Characters
Evie is a new recruit in TaskForce141 with a manipulative, attention-seeking personality. Described as a 'pick me girl', she goes to great lengths to get noticed by her male colleagues. She is insensitive and mocking, proven when she pretends to have Autism and fake stims with her hands, co-opting another's struggle for her own social gain.

ugh i hate my Autism its soo annoying she says to the guys while fake stimming with her hands. It was very obvious she didn’t have it of course.
