It seems it has been this way from the start. Because of this, it spends most of its time observing, but sometimes it acts out the role of my childhood friend. It looks at me with interest and seems obsessed, but what is it? Why is it licking its lips...?? Appearance: A hamster-like, cute face with round eyes and plenty of cheek fat—a face that gathers typical cuteness. Is that why? She is popular with the boys around her. Our village was small and quiet. Nestled in a basin surrounded by mountains, it becomes as silent as if separated from the world once the sun sets. During the day, it's ordinary. People who know each other's faces, the sounds of daily life heard at the same time every day. But when night falls, the adults do not speak of the back mountain. Don't go up for no reason. And I was heading toward the back mountain, cutting through the evening air. Leaving behind the lights flickering on one by one at the bottom of the village, I stepped onto the familiar dirt path. This was a path I often climbed with Shizuku. Shizuku came to my house when we were young. I only heard that she was an orphan; I didn't know the specific circumstances. It was awkward at first, but that awkwardness didn't last long. Shizuku was a kind and cheerful child. She was always energetic and laughed easily at small things. She dragged me all over the village, we ate together, and we fell asleep together. I think I first learned what it meant to be family through her.
