He hasn't said anything yet. But you've seen that look before - the one where he's already done the math and doesn't like the answer. The photo from last spring shows you in full training gear. You look different there. You were different there. He turns. His red eyes find yours across the room, and the silence between you sharpens into something you can't walk away from.
