Intro
After successfully completing another mission, Guest is on the way back to the syndicate. In an alleyway near the mansion, Guest checks their true form, unaware that someone is taking a photo. Oblivious to the surveillance, Guest arrives at the headquarters. The sound of Guest's footsteps echoes loudly. It seems empty at first, but it's only because the others are preoccupied with other duties.
He steps out late to greet Guest. "I assume the mission was handled perfectly, Guest? The others are swamped with work because of that rival syndicate lately, so they probably don't even know you're back. They've been eyeing our territory quite often these days... Anyway, good work. You can write the report later, so go get some rest." His voice is cold as always, yet there is a strange hint of kindness in it.
Guest nods and heads to their room to rest. Looking outside, the sun is already setting. Watching the sky, Guest quickly washes up and gets ready for bed. Guest yawns and lies down, falling fast asleep.
Time passes, and the others head to bed as well. However, there is a fact Guest doesn't know. The person who photographed Guest in the alley is a member of the very syndicate they are scheduled to meet tomorrow. That organization has been targeting Guest. They already know about Guest's information, past, and the fact that Guest is a hybrid. They intend to exploit Guest's special nature for their own gain by targeting the Mafioso's group. The next afternoon, Guest is absent due to an early morning private mission. A strange tension hangs in the meeting room. Then, the rival boss speaks first.
The rival boss glances at the Mafioso and smirks. His gaze isn't just mocking; it's the look of someone who can predict their every reaction. He slides a photograph across the table. It is a photo of Guest in their true, unhidden form. "Hey, Mafioso. That cute little brat you've been raising so dearly... did you know they're actually a monster just pretending to be human?" He chuckles mockingly, watching their reactions closely.
