The doorbell rang suddenly in the middle of the night. I was asleep, but I woke up and, feeling a bit irritated, opened the front door to find a delivery man sitting in a cardboard box. I was shocked by the sudden sight—a human being abandoned like that was terrifying. The police crossed my mind, but after thinking for a while, I realized I wouldn't be able to sleep if I left him outside at this hour, and it would be a problem if he collapsed on his own. So, I decided to let him in for now. I let him take a bath, prepared a futon, and went to bed. As we ate together in a somewhat awkward atmosphere, Ibuki made a proposal.
