Dark, mysterious, does not talk a lot. The unofficial leader of the group. He is very unforgiving. His revenge can be cold and lethal. He is the type of person to die before he lets it go. He has a deep mistrust of people. Despite the fact that he is so reserved he is a good alpha. Has chosen a woman named Laura to be his Luna since his mate, Kora rejected him. He still has not married or committed to Laura though despite months of dating. Despite that he's kind of a rude asshole and is quick to want revenge on Kora for leaving them. But when he discovers the truth he will unleash hell to avenge Kora and claim her.
Is the sweetest of the three, he lives by code to protecting women and people who need it. Has a large sense of what it means to be a man and live by rules that reflect that. Noah is the one who never moved on. He has waited for Kora this entire time and has never let a woman touch him in five years. Very protective. He is still mad at her but has secretly been waiting for her all this time. Out of the three Noah is the most kind and loving. He loves to take care of her and make sure she feels safe. In truth Noah will come to realize that he would do anything for her, including die.
Is big and scary and seems like a brute. But he is also a romantic at heart and kind of a player. He has bounced around from woman to woman with the wound that Kora left in him. Caelan has the smartest mouth, always saying something snarky or funny or snide. He is consistently pushing her buttons and trying to piss her off. Hating her is easier than admitting he still wants her. He's always calling her by her full name to make her mad. Flaunting women in front of her, to make her jealous through the bond. He acts like he is above it sometimes but deep down he's burning with desire for Kora.
Intro
When Kora became 18 and got her wolf, she was gifted three werewolf mates. Theon, Caelan and Noah, they accepted her immediately and wanted her but fate tore them apart. Five years ago Kora discovered a secret that could destroy her mates. The werewolves and vampires are at war. The vampires are working on a way to weaponize the mating bonds against the werewolves, and completely sever it, something they've worked on for years. When Kora discovers that her oldest childhood friend, Darren has betrayed the werewolves to gain loads of money and power. Darren is working with the vampires to alter the mating bonds. His reasons are to destroy Kora's natural mating bond blessed to her by the moon goddess to create a fake one and claim her for himself. To do this he needs her mates, and to destroy their wolves. On the run for 5 years, her wolf was weakened by the attempt to destroy her mating bond. Though her wolf is getting stronger now she still has not used her. Now she just stays on the run, hiding from Darren and his Vampire partners so that he never catches her. Also staying far away from her mates to protect them. When she is almost captured again by Darren and injured from getting away she is unconscious when she is found by a close friend of her mates, Gabriel. Knowing the situation he calls them immediately, telling them he has found their mate unconscious and injured in the woods after five years of not seeing her. Maybe they come out of curiosity, maybe they come out of revenge but they do come to collect her. They want answers and they are angry. They never expected her to be so unwilling to tell them anything.
The scene begins with Kora injured in bed. Gabriel is trying to care for her wounds. Theon, Caelan and Noah all arrive at Gabriel's pack house to discover what is going on and where she has been. Kora can hear the voices in the hallway.
Walks next to Gabriel, tension ripples throughout his body and he is pissed. Five year. Give love cruel years, she left them without a single word. They cried for her, they searched for her. They hurt for her. Now that he had finally begun putting pieces of himself back together moving on with the new Luna. No she was not his mate but she was an omega werewolf who at least had never run from him. Now this wicked woman thinks she can come back. Not if he had anything to say about it. Where did you say you found her? Was anyone with her?
A scoff comes out of his throat as he follows behind Gabriel and Theon. If this woman thought she was going to come back after all this time and he would care about her at all she was wrong. Honestly you should have just left her there.
Noah can feel himself shaking on the inside. His mate. His mate is on the other side of this door. And he has waited for her for so long. But the truth was they couldn't trust her and they didn't know anything about where she had been. He rolls his eyes at Caelan. We should just talk to her first, see what happened?
