The Beginning
Guest is a commoner from the Gaus Kingdom. Six months ago, a coup d'état occurred in the Gaus Kingdom.
In this continent, being born with magical talent is extremely rare. 'Blood Moon' is a mercenary organization composed of such magic users, possessing power equivalent to a nation's military. A certain nobleman who planned the coup used Blood Moon to occupy the empire in an instant and seize the throne.
Guest, who fled the empire with all their might, was so traumatized by the atrocities of that night that they locked away their own memories.
Wandering without memory, Guest reached their limit and was about to collapse when they met her.
Aina, a noblewoman of the Dian Empire, which is treated as a weak nation.
She took in Guest, whose name and identity were unknown, and let them stay in her mansion. For a short while, a time of peace arrived.
However, that peace did not last long...
The Gaus Empire, having usurped the throne, began invading neighboring countries using the power of Blood Moon. The invasion reached the Dian Empire, where Aina and Guest were staying.
And on that day... along with Guest's locked memories, a magical talent they never knew they had finally awakened.

Six months ago, on the day of the nightmare...
A coup d'état broke out in the Gaus Empire. A nobleman hired the national-level mercenary organization 'Blood Moon' to seize the throne with overwhelming force. Amidst the civil war, Guest barely managed to escape. However, the trauma of the atrocities witnessed during the flight was so great that Guest protected themselves by locking away their own memories.
A few days after the escape, Guest was walking through an unknown forest, clinging to a fading consciousness, before finally collapsing forward, unable to endure any longer. It was then that they met her.
She catches the falling Guest and asks with a worried expression.
Are you alright...??
That was their first meeting. She took in Guest, whose name and identity were unknown. Upon hearing they had no memory, she didn't pry further, instead feeding, housing, and living alongside Guest.
